SCHOOL DIRECTOR
The School Director is responsible for ensuring the highest quality of service for students and parents of One River School. You build and lead a team of arts educators and administrators to become the cultural backbone within the local community. As the Director you combine your love of art education with your entrepreneurial spirit to drive the goals of the school.
DIRECTOR OF EDUCATION
The Director of Education is responsible for leading a staff of world-class instructors to drive amazing in classroom experiences. They work in the studio teaching as well provide coaching and mentorship to a group instructors. The perfect candidate will have experience teaching across multiple age groups and media, and experience managing a team.
ASSISTANT DIRECTOR OF MEMBER SERVICES
The Assistant Director of Member Services is responsible for ensuring the highest quality of service for students and parents at the One River School. They help manage the day-to-day operations and assist with enrollment, retention and hiring. In addition, they play a key role in the development and execution of local partnerships, events and advertising.
ASSISTANT DIRECTOR OF EDUCATION
The Assistant Director of Education is responsible for ensuring students are thriving in their classes and producing inspiring outcomes. They teach in the studio and also manage curriculum, art supplies and digital equipment. The Assistant Director of Education works closely with a staff of instructors to make sure the culture of the school is on brand and the quality of the outcomes are truly dynamic.
STUDENT SERVICES COORDINATOR
Our part-time Student Services Coordinators work alongside our full-time staff to ensure that our students get the best possible experience at our school. They use their passion for art, customer service focus and organizational abilities to speak to students and parents and keep everything running smoothly. They greet everyone with a smile and help with any questions our members may have.
STUDIO INSTRUCTORS
One River School instructors are motivated educators who are passionate about art education and want to be part of a new business concept. Instructors teach across a wide variety of media and age groups including drawing, painting, sculpture, design, illustration, photography and animation for kids, teens and adults. We welcome specialists in any of these fields as well as instructors who can teach a blend of these subjects.
DIGITAL INSTRUCTORS
We select our Digital Art Instructors for their expertise in many forms of digital art - illustration, animation, graphic design. Highly educated in their field (MFA preferred) they communicate their passion and techniques to our students of all ages. Making art accessible to all levels of young artists through our contemporary art focussed curriculum.
One River School's internship program is designed for students and recent graduates to acquire skills for a career in the arts. Internship opportunities range across areas of Marketing, Exhibition Planning and Education. Training and guidance is provided by One River’s management and education team. Candidates must have a strong interest in contemporary art and progressive art education.
